Geography is part of the Montessori framework that connects a child to their world and nature.

A child in our Montessori school experiences geography presentations through beautiful visual work, literature, and songs that paint the big picture of their world. Geography materials are always available in our classrooms. Discovery takes places with materials like globes, landforms, continent maps, and artifacts that represent different parts of the world. As our students experience these connections and develop curiosities, they are introduced to further details of countries, rivers, and mountains.
